Here is the link to 6 FREE RETIRED ACT EXAMS & THE ANSWERS!  Use them, print them. Work through each test systematically and practice regularly. Mark when you get something wrong and if you guessed. Go back after checking the answers and write down not only the correct answer but why/how it was correct. A week before your test date go back over everything you got wrong or guessed at.

National test Dates are for the United States, US territories and Puerto Rico if you have missed the late registration deadline for a test date you may be able to request standby testing.

All requests for accommodations and ESL support including appeals must be submitted by the late registration deadline through the Test Accessibility and Accommodations (TAA) system. Accommodations and ESL supports are not available for standby testing.

--The ACT costs $60.00 for regular registration. Late registration is an additional charge of $36.00. ACT Plus Writing is $85.00 and is optional for most colleges. LSU highly recommends students take the writing portion at least once. ACT with the writing option is $85.00

--It is highly recommended that students begin taking the ACT in the end of the sophomore year or the summer of the junior year. This allows for multiple testing opportunities to improve their score. In order to qualify for TOPS, students must obtain the required composite score currently a 20 by the April testing of their Senior year to qualify for TOPS Performance, Opportunity, and Honors. The TOPS Tech requires a 17 on the ACT. Students who qualify for TOPS on the June test date after graduation will be awarded one semester penalty of eligibility for TOPS.

--Students can take the ACT into Sept/Oct of the freshman year of college to meet the qualifying score but be penalized one year but still receive TOPS for 3 years.

 

--It is imperative that when registering for the ACT that you place Houma Christian’s code (also known as the CEEB number) on your application. HCS’s code is 191-221.

--It is imperative that you put the TOPS code of 1595 for LOSFA to receive your scores so that you can be approved for TOPS.
